Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the industries, activities, and behaviors permitted and prohibited when using PowerFrame. It supplements the Terms of Service. Violations may result in immediate suspension, termination, and legal action.
Permitted uses
PowerFrame is built for legitimate service businesses operating legally in the United States, including:
- Home services (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, pest control, landscaping)
- Legal services (with valid bar licensing)
- Dental and medical practices (with appropriate compliance infrastructure)
- Med spas and aesthetics (with valid state licensing)
- Real estate and mortgage (with valid licensing)
- Auto repair and body shops
- Professional services (accounting, consulting, insurance)
- Personal services (fitness, cleaning, pet services)
Prohibited industries
PowerFrame does not support the following industries without prior written approval and additional compliance review:
- Adult content, escort services, sexually explicit services
- Gambling, casinos, sports betting (unless licensed and regulated)
- Cannabis, CBD above 0.3% THC, psychedelics (even where state-legal, federal restrictions apply to interstate communication)
- Firearms and ammunition sales
- Tobacco, e-cigarettes, vaping products
- Multi-level marketing (MLM), pyramid schemes
- Unlicensed debt collection
- Unlicensed investment advice or securities solicitation
- Payday lending above state interest caps
- Cryptocurrency trading or ICO promotion
- Weight loss, supplement, or health claim marketing without FDA/FTC substantiation
- Counterfeit goods or pirated content
- Any activity violating federal, state, or local law
If your business is in a restricted category but you believe you qualify for an exception, contact compliance@powerframe.ai before signing up.
Prohibited behaviors
Regardless of industry, you may not use PowerFrame to:
- Send communications without legally obtained consent (TCPA violations)
- Harvest, scrape, or use contact lists obtained without consent
- Impersonate another business, person, or government official
- Engage in discriminatory practices (Fair Housing Act, ADA, Title VII)
- Send deceptive or false statements in marketing communications
- Violate copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
- Distribute malware, phishing, or fraudulent content
- Attempt to reverse engineer or extract our AI model weights
- Test our rate limits or attempt denial-of-service
- Use PowerFrame to train competing AI systems
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized users
- Circumvent opt-out, DNC, or consent requirements
AI-specific restrictions
You may not use PowerFrame AI agents to:
- Impersonate licensed professionals (doctor, lawyer, therapist) without proper disclosure
- Provide binding legal, medical, tax, or financial advice
- Claim to be human when directly asked
- Generate content that harms, harasses, or defames individuals
- Create deepfakes or synthetic voice impersonation of real people without consent
Reporting violations
If you believe someone is violating this AUP:

Include: the account or URL, description of the violation, evidence (screenshots, recordings, complaint records).
Enforcement
We investigate every report. Depending on severity, consequences range from warning → temporary suspension → permanent termination → legal action → reporting to authorities. Fees paid are non-refundable upon termination for AUP violation.
Changes
We may update this AUP as laws, industries, and abuse patterns evolve. Material changes will be announced with 30 days notice.
